Additionally, for non-baked goods, we ship them across South Africa. You can opt for delivery through Courier Guy. Pudo locker, which is more affordable, can also be used
Selection
Customers have the freedom to choose cake sizes, all sharing the same height, depending on their width. They decide the number of servings, cake flavor, and desired fillings.
Delivery
To arrange delivery, customers add items to their cart and proceed to checkout. They select the delivery option, and the cost is automatically calculated. Customers then decide whether to proceed with payment or not. Alternatively, they can collect their items from our shop. It’s important to remember our opening hours.
Trading hours
We close on public holidays, Sundays, and Tuesdays, but remain open from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.
Traveling
During transportation, it’s crucial to keep cakes cool and prevent them from getting hot. Ensuring they remain flat is equally important. 2 tier cakes are large and high ,therefore may not fit in sedan cars. Upon arrival, refrigerate the cake until it’s ready to be served.
Cake tips
Cakes are fragile ,therefore handle them with care. If there are leftovers, refrigerate them to keep them fresh for a 2 to 3 days.
Order Times
Cakes take 1 to 2 days to make. However, if you need one urgently, we’ll do our best to assist you. For wedding cakes, we recommend providing us with 5 to 10 days’ notice. Royal icing cookies need about 10 to 15 days, but we can expedite the process if necessary. Cupcakes can be ready in 8 to 24 hours. Platters, cake pops, and cake sickles usually take about 1 to 2 days. Packing non-baked goods requires 1 to 2 days. Biscuits also take about 1 to 2 days. Dikuku can be made in 1 to 2 days. While macarons typically take 3 to 5 days.
